Attack on Titans: Why can the Beast Titan control other Titans?

This is the reason why Zeke Jaeger can manipulate the Pure Titans in Shingeki no Kyojin.

All the Changing Titans of Shingeki no Kyojin have very different abilities and appearances, but the one that stands out the most on a general level is the Beast Titan, not because of the fact that he looks like a monkey in the manganime, but because of the peculiar powers that he has shown onscreen.

The current wielder of this Titan is Zeke Jeager, a man from Marley who has been noted for his incredible abilities in his Titan form, such as his great strength, precise object launches and the power to control the Titans.

This undoubtedly makes it unique, since besides the Founding Titan, no other Changeling can do it, but this has its explanation and we will explain it to you in the following information.

Why does Zeke Jaeger have the ability to control Pure Titans?

In order to understand this, you have to know a little about Zeke Jaeger's past. As confirmed in the anime, Zeke's parents are Grisha Jaeger and Dina Fritz, so his mother is a direct descendant of Ymir Fritz, who is considered to be the founder of the power of the Titans.

This means that the royal blood runs through Zeke Jaeger's veins and that would be the reason why he has the ability to control the Pure Titans.

In the first chapter of the fourth season we can see that several Marley soldiers are injected with the Titan serum to act as if they were kamikazes, in this case, sacrificing themselves by becoming Pure Titans.

The interesting thing about this is that humans who have this liquid in their body transform once the Beast Titan screams, and that impresses Colt, who says that Zeke Jaeger has been the first to be able to do that, since no other Titan Beast had had that power.

Somehow, being the son of a Fritz, Zeke Jaeger has managed to enhance the abilities of his Titan, that would explain why he is so strong and why he is so different from the ancient bearers of the Beast Titan in Attack on Titan.
