What is 'WAP'? Who are cameos in Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘WAP’ Video

With only a few hours on Youtube, WAP the video of rappers Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion, is already the second most played on the platform.

“WAP” stands for 'What A Production', everyone’s thoughts after one view of this video.

In addition to the extravagant appearance of the singers, with striking and sensual costumes, the video has been made popular by the performances of Kylie Jenner, Rosalía, Ruby Rose, and Normani.

In the video you can see Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion walking through the rooms of an exotic mansion, set with animals such as tigers and snakes. In each room is one of the famous guests.

WAP is Cardi B's first song in 2020, an original work by the rapper in collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, which is becoming popular for the female participation.

The video has become a trend on social networks in recent hours and Internet users comment on the “provocative” outfits of the singers, the choreography and especially the participation of the luxury guests.

The figures, of course, are only growing. Not even 24 hours since the video was made public, but it already  exceeds three and a half million  views, half a million  likes  and thousands of comments praising the return of the rapper. And this time with three women who either sing or appear, they turn their new release into a statement of intent.

“WAP” is also the first new music released by Meg since she was injured in a mid-July shooting. The Cardi collaboration also follows June’s “Girls in the Hood,” the Beyoncé remix of “Savage,” and her March release Suga.

Capturing glances in the middle of a long corridor or dancing in the purest Rosalía style. This is how the Spanish appears with the youngest of the Kardashians. They show off their acting skills  almost at the end of the video clip, but that has not stopped social networks from being filled with comments about the surprise that it has been to see them together with Cardi and Megan.

But they are not the only ones! Artists like  Normani, Ruby Rose, Mulatto and Sukihana are  also part of this fantasy. A madness that has already crept into YouTube  trends  and promises to become a real hit in a matter of days.

The convulsed 2020 does not seem to have put down artists like Rosalía. Since the health alert was decreed, the interpreter of "Badly" has released three songs that have not stopped acquiring success after success. First it was " Hurt ", then " TKN " with Travis Scott and finally " KLK ".

Three songs that have led her to become  the third Spanish singer with the most  streams  if we take into account the data provided by Spotify, Deezer, Google Play Music, Apple Music and Amazon Music.
